A policeman was detained today in connection to the shooting of a nineteen-year-old man, after he was killed during a police confrontation with a group of teenagers, at a party in the area of Godoy Cruz in Mendoza.
According to Mendoza province Security Ministry sources, the incident occurred when the policemen entered the home where the party was taking place, following noise complaints coming from neighbours.
The young man who was killed was actually living in Chile, and had gone back to Mendoza to visit his family.
Provincial police were further investigating the case.
