Judge Claudio Bonadío ruled a non-diclosure order on the probe investigating the Once train crash, which took place on February 22nd and in which 51 people were killed and over 700 were injured.
His ruling aims to “avoid that the spreading of partial results create confusion and to avoid their use by parties that engage in media campaigns, thus damaging victims and people in general.”
Per the ruling, the gagging order remains in order until the probe is finished. Bonadío’s took place one day after he banned Transport Secretary Juan Pablo Schiavi, and TBA manager Roque Cirigliano and other officials from leaving the country.
Judicial sources refused to confirm the list of all those banned from leaving the country, but it reportedly includes officials of the National Transport Regulation Committee (CNRT).
