Peronist lawmaker Jorge Landau predicted that “a large majority of unionists will side with the Government,” after CGT umbrella union boss Hugo Moyano stepped down as the Peronist party provincial branch leader.
“Despite Moyano’s resignation, the relationship between the workers and Cristina Kirchner won’t break. The worker’s movement is the backbone of Peronism, not its head, because the head is always political, and Cristina Kirchner is the head of Peronism,» he stated.
