CGT says tensions are cooled with Government

The head of the Judicial union, Julio Piumato, and the head of the textile trade union, Jorge Lobais today assured that there was no breaking up of the relationship between the CGT and the Government, but made clear that they could go forward to the Judiciary to reclaim the debt they have regarding union health insurance payments.

The two directors, aligned with the umbrella union’s boss, Hugo Moyano, informed that the main workers union, “still supports the Government,” which remains in talks with ministers and that “President Cristina Kirchner is the one who should run things.”

Piumato assured that “Moyano was extremely sincere” during his speech on Trucker’s Day, when he announced him stepping down from his PJ national and provincial duties, and reclaimed the raise of the minimum tax floor, earnings and the Government’s debt regarding health insurance.
