Aníbal Fernández assures 2012 budget bill will be passed by next week

Kichnerite Senator Aníbal Fernández assured this morning that the Victory Front’s caucus at the Upper House will do anything possible in order to get the 2012 budget passed by next week.

On his first day at his new role, Fernández arrived at Congress 6:30 am and told reporters that the Budget and Finance committee will try to clear out the budget bill draft so that it can be debated at the Lower House on Wednesday.

Thus Fernández appeared confident that in case of being approved by the Lower House this week, it would then be passed by the Senate on next week.

Likewise, the ruling party is trying to clinch before December 31 other key bills as it would be the case of extending the Economical Emergency law, and the cigarettes tax law.
