Economy Minister and Vice-President elect Amado Boudou, anticipated that «next year the Argentine economy will generate a sufficient commercial balance, and will be able to count on the necessary currencies to maintain a certain amount of freedom in the decision-making process.»
During the Argentine Construction Chamber Summit, Boudou highlighted the need to “strengthen the internal market and to boost the national development with imports replacements, in which the popular consumption, the incorporation of fellow-countrymen to the labour and demand market is the key.”
The minister added that “we live in a turbulent world that will be having the problems that we are now facing, especially about high volatility, uncertainty and slow global growth rates in the developed economies.”
He stated that the causes “are related to the economic model that was applied in the 80’s and consolidated in the 90’s, that could be defined as the financial valorization of the economic system.”
Boudou concluded that the “problem is not the economic model, but the political one.”
