The so called “blue” dollar closed four cents higher at 12.70 pesos today, continuing an upward trend at the start of the week. On Monday, greenbacks in the informal market reversed earlier losses to close at 12.66 pesos.
The gap between the official rate and the informal rate of the American currency was at 41.6 percent.
In Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices, meanwhile, the US dollar closed up half a cent to 8.97 pesos
