The National Statistics and Census Institute (INDEC) has revealed that the unemployment rate held steady during the first four months of the year, with 7.1 percent of the working-age population jobless.
That figure is unchanged from the same period in 2014. The state statistics agency did show a drop in under-employment, however, which fell from 5.5 to 5.1 percent in the period January-April. Those under-employed but not seeking more work, meanwhile, decreased from 2.6 to 2.5%.
