In the midst of always-conflictive wage talks, Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández today avoided confirming the new government’s wage hike roof of 25 percent and warned “any decision made” during salary negotiations should not impact on prices.
He was answering a question about the 25 percent hike roof Economy Minister Axel Kicillof fixed. «Any decision made cannot make a mess and impact in prices. That shall be discussed. I don’t wanna be the person who fixes a Lumber, I dont’ have to do that,” he added.
The head of ministers underlined the government’s work to make “these discussions reach a point in which everyone is satisfied.”
