President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is expected to go back to work on Tuesday after suffering from sigmoiditis, an infection of the colon, cabinet chief Jorge Capitanich confirmed today.
After three weeks away, Ms. Kirchner will make her public reappearance at the anniversary of the Argentine Construction Chamber, where she is expected to speak, Capitanich said.
