Capitanich on Milani case: ‘No one is obstructing the process’

Asked about the ongoing judicial investigation against Army Chief César Milani for crimes against humanity, Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich pointed out Argentina’s Judicial independence and stated that the government «is not obstructing or interrupting the process».

In his daily press briefing, the Kirchnerite official said Milani’s case «is part of the media agenda» and that it should follow its legal course.

Army Chief César Milani faces accusations by the Centre for Legal and Social Studies (CELS) human rights organization for judicial irregularities in a case investigating him for crimes against humanity in La Rioja province.
