Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich delivers his speech in his daily brief to the press at the government house and defends the government decision to sanction electricity companies Edenor and Edesur
In his daily brief to the press, Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich defended the government’s decision to seize control of the Focede investment benefit Edenor and Edesur saying the electricity companies have proved their “incompetence” to carry out extension and improvement work of the power network.
“We want investments to be done now,” Capitanich urged Edenor and Edesur during his press conference at the Casa Rosada presidential palace. The head of ministers explained works will start today in the most-affected areas where people had to deal with power outages amid suffocating temperatures.
