President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner today led a ceremony marking the promotions of individuals from Argentina’s security forces, in an event which took place in the White Room of Government House.
The head of state, who was accompanied by Security Minister María Cecilia Rodríguez and Security Secretary Sergio Berni, oversaw this afternoon’s ceremony, in which officials from the Federal Police, Border Police and Coast Guard were promoted.
Following the event, CFK was scheduled to meet with leaders of the Jewish organisation DAIA, as she continues talks with the diverse religious sectors in Argentine society.
