Following yesterday’s confirmation about CFK’s cabinet shuffle, Axel Kicillof said he “did not hesitate” to accept the challenge of leading the Economy Ministry.
Kicillof addressed a group of reporters keeping guard outside his house waiting for his first statements since the news about his designation. “Thank you very much for coming, but we will talk soon,” he explained as he pointed out he will be officially assuming the post on Wednesday.
On Monday, presidential spokesman Alfredo Scoccimarro announced Axel Kicillof would be replacing Hernán Lorenzino at the Economy Ministry and governor of the Chaco province Jorge Capitanich cabinet chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina. Other ministerial changes involved the designation of Juan Carlos Fábrega to head Argentina’s Central Bank.
