CFK continues official agenda in Olivos

CFKA day after resuming official duties, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner will be holding several meetings at the Olivos presidential residency. Today’s agenda includes visits by AFSCA media watchdog head Martín Sabbatella and state secretaries Oscar Parrilli and Carlos Zannini.

According to official information, Fernández de Kirchner will be receiving Martín Sabbatella at 5 pm this afternoon and then meet with Secretary General to the Presidency Oscar Parrilli at 6 pm. Later, she will be gathering with Legal and Technical Secretary Carlos Zannini at 7 pm.

The 60-year-old head of state returned to office on Monday after recovering from a head surgery she was forced to undergo back in October when she was diagnosed with a subdural hematoma.

Ms. Kirchner made her first public appearance yesterday with a pre-recorded message that was released in social networks in which she thanked the shows of support and wishes for recovery during her absence.

The 7-minute video came after presidential spokesman Alfredo Scoccimarro announced key ministerial changes taking Chaco province governor Jorge Capitanich to replace cabinet chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina and Axel Kicillof to lead the Economy Ministry, among other significant appointments.
