While President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is preparing her political comeback for next week, her deputy Amado Boudou inaugurated new infrastructure works at the University of Quilmes, and stated that the government has no interest in getting involved with internal party conflicts.
“These years were not defined by sectarian politics, but by the project for a country”, the vice-president fired.
Regarding the economic situation, Boudou affirmed that in the past “this was a country which decided to throw public education out the window and ordered the freezing of jobs at universities”.
According to the Vice president, in 2013 “more than 6.5 percent of GDP will be intended in education, while about 2% of it will be used to pay the external debt.”
Later, he proceeded remembering the figure of former President Nestor Kirchner who died three years ago due a heart failure.
Finally, he alluded to the cancellation of Justin Bieber’s show from yesterday who excused arguing a “food poisoning”, which Boudou defined as “a cultural tragedy”.
Fernández de Kirchner is expected to return her duties on November 18, after 30 days of rest ordered by her doctors, following head surgery that she underwent as result of a subdural hematoma.
