President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner today held meetings at Olivos presidential residence with Cabinet Chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina and with the presidency’s Secretary-General Oscar Parrilli.
After the PASO primary election outcome, the head of state was set to coordinate her work schedule for the coming days.
There was no official confirmation yet regarding her participation in the swearing-in ceremony of Paraguay’s President-elect, Horacio Cartes.
After last Sunday night, when the president highlighted that the Victory Front was the most voted political force nationwide, she chose not to appear in public and instead, she secluded herself at the Olivos residence, in Northern Buenos Aires province. Thus, rumors about a possible cabinet shake up began circulating.
