President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner said «every time the rights in Argentina are becoming for everyone», while enacting laws related to domestic staff and penalties for child labour. The ceremony took place in Casa Rosada.
The President added that «when tragedy strikes it’s when you realized how much more we need to do. It also shows the best and worst side of human beings,» referring to the tragic storm that hit La Plata last week.
President Fernández claimed that the law will be enacted against “those who want to profit from an emergency.”
CFK affirmed that «in 60 years, there wasn’t a single judge who decided to consider unconstitutional a decree that considers cleaning staff to be different from other workers.»
