The president of the Supreme Court, Judge Ricardo Lorenzetti, came on stage today and considered that the Judicial reform proposed by the national government is a matter that must be discussed by congressmen.
Likewise, Lorenzetti tried to dissipate any tensions between the national government and the Judiciary power by saying that “The State policies are the result of consensus”, and explaining that “It was during the Judges National Conference that the entire Judiciary understood that certain reforms were needed.”
Furthermore, the Justice stressed that “everybody can be calmed as the Supreme Court will always be up to its responsibilities, which were given by the National Constitution, in a balanced and independent way.”
