City lawmakers approved a DNU emergency decree signed by Mayor Mauricio Macri in a special Legislature session that creates the Special Subsidies Regime for Victims whose property was damaged by a strong storm last week.
Lawmakers approved the DNU, which was drafted by the Macri administration, and calls for the creation of a public fund in order to aid the storm victims with money collected from the ABL property tax.
Residents whose property was damaged by the flash floods will be able to obtain up to $20,000 pesos in subsidies. Starting today, communal agencies will have up to thirty days to evaluate the damages caused by the storm to private properties.
