With an absent Scioli, CFK officially opens Tecnópolis

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner attended the opening ceremony of the 2012 Tecnópolis theme park and assured that “when workers, business leaders and the provincial and national governments work together, failure becomes impossible.”

The president also handed over the network N° 2 million of the Conectar Igualdad programme.

“When workers, business leaders and the provincial and national governments work together, failure becomes impossible,” she stated.

The President was seen entering the stage with PRO party’s Vicente López mayor Jorge Macri, but Buenos Aires governor Daniel Scioli was nowhere to be seen.
Many expected the President to refer to CGT leader Hugo Moyano’s earlier speech, but she refrained from mentioning him.

Tecnópolis, a tecnology and science theme park, is located in Villa Martelli, in the Greater Buenos Aires area, and was a huge success last year after 4.5 million people visited during the winter months.

The park is to reopen its doors to the public on Saturday.

Tecnópolis has no entry fee and will be open to the public until July 29th, from 12 pm to 8 pm.

After July 31st, the park will remain open until October from Tuesdays to Sundays and will operate during the same hours.
