Shopping centre burnt down in seaside town Cariló

A supermarket was set alight this morning, causing damage to the rest of the shopping centre in Cariló.
A shopping centre in the seaside town of Cariló, Buenos Aires Province, was completely destroyed this morning after a fire broke out in a supermarket, setting the entire complex alight. Fire fighters from nearby towns Pinamar and Villa Gesell were working to put out the fire.
The fire began around 7 am this morning inside “La Proveeduría” supermarket, along Divisadero Avenue. The fire spread, damaging other parts of the wooden, cabin style shopping complex, while the supermarket itself was completely destroyed.
Fire fighters working at the scene told the press of their worries that the fire would spread to the forest which the town runs through.
Early reports linked the cause of the fire to a short circuit in a fridge inside the supermarket, causing sparks. Even still, investigators were working to figure out the concrete causes of the fire.
