The Constitutional Affairs Committee led by Diana Conti, met on Wednesday to debate several draft bills that considered a single ballot and electronic voting system.
The idea of the Government is to finally open a subcommittee to analyse in advance all of the bills that deal with changes to the electoral system.
Even though the Government has shown clear negativity toward the passing of the single-ballot voting system, opposition lawmakers have already put together a list of meetings to discuss the matter, which will include the presence of representatives for non-governmental organisations, lawyers and provincial government members where the measure is applied, such as Córdoba and Santa Fe.
The debate was took place in the Annex building belonging to the Lower House of Congress.
