Radical senator Ernesto Sanz blamed the National Government for the “cleaning out” of YPF and assured that it is “an accomplice in today’s disastrous energy policy.”
“People have been warning of the cleaning out of YPF since 2007, they have warned that today’s energy policy is a mess. The question is: who’s responsible for this now?” he asked after the first senatorial plenary meeting in Congress where senators discussed the future of YPF came to an end.
He then accused the Government of “looking the other way” and of being an “accomplice” of Spanish Repsol because “they didn’t force the company to comply with the law.”
“Those government officials responsible for this mess are now trying to make us think they are the ones responsible of pushing us forward,” he closed.
