A special session to debate the transfer of the subway service administration failed after City lawmakers failed to muster quorum in the Legislature.
The special meeting session was scheduled to begin at 5 pm but after waiting for some time the session was cancelled due lack of quorum.
The Legislature’s vice-president Cristian Rotondo was expected to lead a press conference to explain what happened.
Earlier today, opposition lawmakers and PRO lawmakers negotiated to agree upon which six of the twelve files pertaining to the agenda would be discussed, but did not reach an accord. Thus, opposition lawmakers decided to not assist to the session.
