Del Potro’s coach opens door for Davis Cup return

After refusing to play against Germany during the first round of the Davis Cup 2012 explaining that clay surface -chosen by the Germans- would affect his performance at the Tour, Juan Martín Del Potro might be back for the second round draw against Croatia to be played in Buenos Aires on April 6-8.
After beating Spain’s Fernando Verdasco by 6-2 and 7-6 (8-6) and moving into the fourth round of the Indian Wells ATP tournament, Davin talked to reporters and confirmed that Del Potro “Is ready to play Davis Cup, and he will play whenever the team needs him on being it singles or doubles. All he wants is to play no matter he puts his body at risks by playing Friday through Sunday.”
