Banks of fog and mist were covering the city today.
Mist and banks of fog were reducing visibility in the Capital this morning and causing delays on the roads. Traffic setbacks were registered along route 2, 3 and 205 and along the motorway Buenos Aires-La Plata, for which transport authorities asked drivers to drive with extra care.
Aside from the fog reducing visibility, the delays on the roads were worsened today due to large amount of tourists coming back from the coast. Some of the heavier delays were reported on the outskirts of Buenos Aires city and La Plata.
The National Road Security Administration (ANSV) and the National Highway Administration recommended that while driving with poor visibility conditions it is advisable to “reduce your speed, leave a larger stopping distance, and where needed, use fog lights.”
