Judge Ricardo Costa issued widower Daniel Sfeir, who’s accused of murdering his wife, Silvia Prigent; to remain on remand until further notice.
Thus, the Judge accepted Prosecutor Cosme Iribarren requisition to put Sfeir under preventive custody after being accused of first degree murder of his wife, whose dead body was found by the Luján River in early January.
Yesterday, Sfeir recognized that he was by the area where the body was found on the same day in which the victim was allegedly killed.
“All I want to say is that I drove María Cristina Soria there. I was in the area because I was driving her there, but I have nothing to do with this,” the suspect told Judge Costa after admitting that he was having a relationship with whom investigators believe is her lover.
