Boudou heads first official rally as acting President

Vice-president Amado Boudou headed his first rally as acting President in the Government House and handed out garbage trucks to Buenos Aires province municipalities.

In visibly good spirits, Boudou made his way from his office in the Nation Bank and greeted pedestrians and cyclists. The handing out of the trucks took place in the leveled are»a outside the Government House, where other social plans such as “meat for all” and fish for all «were presented as well.

Just like Cristina Fernández de Kirchner usually does, Boudou made no formal statements to press, but he did tell accredited journalists that “the team is here working” regarding the President’s request of keeping up with the administration during her leave of absence. He also highlighted the Head of State’s new diagnosis and concluded by saying “stray strong, President.”

Boudou was accompanied by members of Cabinet and Secretaries of State. As a metaphor of the close attention Fernández de Kirchner is paying to all his moves, Boudou was joined by Cabinet Chief Juan Abal Medina, Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo, Planning Minister Julio de Vido, and Presidency Secretary Oscar Parrilli and Legal and Technical Secretary Carlos Zannini.
