La Plata Court to settle Martínez’s appeal

The Criminal Court in La Plata were to settle Osvaldo Martínez’s case for appeal today, after he was put into preventive custody for the murder of three women and a child at the end of November this year, judicial sources informed.
Last week the Criminal Rights judge, Guillermo Atencio issued a ruling, putting the karate expert under the spotlight as the main participant in the quadruple murders, sustaining that “the detainee had been present at the scene of the crime.”
According to the judge, on November 26, “two males – one of whom unidentified – entered the property without force (…) and with the help of the first using white guns, caused the death of Bárbara Santos, and Susana de Bárttole, Micaela Galle Santos and Marisol Pereyra, with the goal of wanting exemption from punishment.”
