NEW YORK (Reuters) – Wall Street opened little changed on Monday as investors looked ahead to a batch of earnings this week for better clues on the state of the economy.
The Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI) was down 0.60 points, or 0.01 percent, at 11,062.18. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index (.SPX) was down 1.45 points, or 0.12 percent, at 1,174.74. The Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC) was down 4.78 points, or 0.19 percent, at 2,463.99.
