The bodies of Antonio Bravata and his wife, Francesca Crocci were discovered by a student who was renting a room in the couple’s home when they saw bloodstains all across the floor upon entering the property.

The victims, aged 60 years, were living in a chalet located along 14 de Julio street at 100, where the male student stumbled upon the bodies lying on the living room floor. Sources confirmed that all the valuables owned by the couple remained intact, which included LCD television screens, hifi systems amongst other goods.

According to the first results of the autopsies carried out on the bodies, the couple was murdered last Thursday; however the tenant found them dead on Friday night because he had been away, visiting Olavarría.

Sources stated that the couple had been living in Tandil since mid-2009 and that they weren’t very well known in the neighbourhood.
