President Cristina Fernández visited Mendoza to inaugurate local winery Bianchi new facilities. During her speech, CFK celebrated the success of the wine industry and praised workers for their contribution to the country’s economy.
‘Capital and work are the fundamental to the country’s growth,’ she said.
The President also stressed her administration is committed to improve the labor force working conditions. ‘We are going to strive for a better life for our workers,’ CFK said.
«In this national, popular and democratic project we want to expand to include all the Argentines.”
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner celebrated the success of the national wine industry. «Our wine industry is one of the best in the world. Argentina is the world’s ninth biggest wine exporter.»
CFK also rejoiced over the partnership with Vice-president Amado Boudou in an ironic statement that addressed the Kirchner’s family and former vice-president Julio Cobos problematic relationship.
“You have no idea how wonderful it is to finally have a vice-president. I am so happy,” she said.
After leaving the Bianchi wine factory, CFK followed to San Rafael to inaugurate a bus terminal named after her deceased husband Néstor Kirchner where she praised the parliament for having recently cleared key law proposals sent to the Congress by the House of Government.
“I am so proud of the Congress for having passed laws that for decades have been demanded by the Argentine population,” CFK stressed.
“I am particularly thrilled to see the Land Ownership Law get cleared by the House,” CFK highlighted. “It is a strategic resource to Argentines,” she added.
She also addressed the controversial Newsprint Law, a bill establishing that the printing and distribution of newsprint is of public interest. “You can rest assured I am not going to open a newspaper,” she said.
