Rossi: ‘It’s hard to discuss the real economy with the opposition’

“How can we deny salary reposition? Family allowance? Sometimes the opposition omits itself just to make a political statement,” Rossi complained.
During an interview this morning, the Lower House majority leader Agustín Rossi (Victory Front-Santa Fe) told a local radio station that he considered “hard to discuss the real economy with the opposition.”
Rossi celebrated, however, the approval of the 2012 Budget Bill by the Lower House last night. “The budget reflects the country’s economic performance. What no one should ignore is that in Argentina we have a robust economy, strong, with growth prospective and solid tools to get us through for the next years,” the lawmaker stressed.
Rossi criticized the opposition for not understanding the government’s needs. “How can we deny salary reposition? Family allowance? Sometimes the opposition omits itself just to make a political statement,” Rossi complained.
