San Nicolás: Collapsed building street reopen

The pedestrian street located meters from the building that collapsed in the neighborhood of San Nicolás at 1232 Bartolomé Mitre was reopened today little over a month the old building collapsed killing a man and living 30 people homeless downtown, Buenos Aires City.

The Bartolomé Mitre section, between streets Talcahuano and Libertad, was reopen for pedestrians only.

Now, the owners of the units the collapsed building call for the payment of a government compensation for 50.000 pesos which neighbors, the building’s caretaker and tenants are also entitled to.

The collapsed building is located on 1232 Bartolomé Mitre st in downtown Buenos Aires, and a few metres away from Subway line C Lima station.
