Facebook page created in Cuello’s defence

A screen grab of the Facebook created in defence of the prime suspect in the Tomás Santillán murder case.
A webpage has been created in the defence of the former stepfather of Tomás Dameno Santillán, and since the page was opened on Facebook it has received thousands of hits and comments; mostly insults against the only suspect in the crime.
The Facebook page labelled, “Basta de culpar a Adalberto Cuello” (stop blaming Adalberto Cuello), left no traces of the site creator’s identity, but in response to many messages written against the victim, shows their position.
“I am not sure that it wasn’t him who did it. That’s not what the group is for. I am sure that you shouldn’t blame somebody for a crime without having proof. Justice cannot be done by deduction,” said the creator of the site.
Thousands of comments and posts circulated the site throughout the evening where people debated the suspect’s innocence.
The site creators posted, “here we are not defending, only asking that they be prudent.”
The creator of the page also included two opinion polls for followers questioning whether or not the mother of the boy had any involvement in the crime.
