Five convicted in Belsunce case released on bail

The five men convicted for the covering up of the murder of María Marta García Belsunce posted bail and will be released from prison today, sources said.
Guillermo Bártoli posted $500,000 bail, Sergio Binello posted 400,000 pesos bail, John Hurtig posted 350,000 bail, while Horacio García Belsunce posted150,000 pesos bail and doctor Juan Ramón Gauvry Gordon posted a 30,000 pesos bail.
58 year old Binello, who was sentenced to three years imprisonment, will remain under house arrest in Carmel gated community in the Greater Buenos Aires area of Pilar and where María Marta García Belsunce was murdered.
Meanwhile, John Hurtig, María Marta’s half-brother, who was handed a three and a half year sentence, posted 150,000 bail and doctor Juan Ramón Gauvry Gordon, who received a three year sentence, posted 30,000 pesos bail.
The five men were handed effective imprisonment sentences, but were benefitted by a habeas corpus plea requested by their lawyers.
