Railway unionist Rubén »Pollo» Sobrero was previously arrested and released. Today a San Martín judge stated that there was a lack of evidence linking him to the crime.
San Martín Judge Juan Manuel Yalj, announced on Friday that there was a lack of evidence linking railway unionist Rubén «Pollo» Sobrero to the train arson case, where several trains on the Sarmiento line were intentionally burned down last May.
The decision, made by San Martín’s number 2 court, was decided due to the fact that the magistrate could not find significant evidence to prosecute him, nor to dismiss him from the cause.
The judge also announced lack of evidence for Rodrigo Peláez, Hernán Axon, and brothers Fernando and Guillermo Díaz.
On September 30 Sobrero was arrested and detained on charges of orchestrating an arson attack on the Sarmiento train line.
