A Federal Police Forensic and Rescue division is raking the debris of the demolished building located on 1232 Bartolomé Mitre street in the neighborhood of San Nicolás, with the help of trained dogs as one person is still missing since last Friday when the building partially collapsed.
Buenos Aires City Security Minister, Guillermo Montenegro, had reported that the removal of debris would be conducted today in order to move forward with the demolition of the still standing building.
Montenegro explained that “it will be a more manual work as special teams will have to enter the back of the building.”
Activities have been detained pending news from the forensic division.
