UDESO gubernatorial candidate in the Buenos Aires province, Francisco de Narváez acknowledged defeat and praised Governor Daniel Scioli’s victory, although he assured that they have become “the second largest political movement” in the province.
“Today we haven’t been chosen to govern,” De Narváez said once the polls had closed and thanked presidential candidate Ricardo Alfonsín for his support.
He also said that his party would “continue to work and unite” others for the future of the province.
“We haven’t been chosen to govern, but we’re not the ones fading away, we’re the ones that are up and coming,” he concluded.
