Swimmer Biagoli wins ninth gold medal for Argentina in Pan American games

Argentine swimmer Cecilia Biagioli won the gold medal after ending on first place in the open water discipline, bringing the country’s total amount of gold medals to nine in the XVI Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Biagioli won by a great margin over fellow swimmers in the ten kilometre race, which took place in Puerto Vallarta.
“I’m going to enjoy this, I can’t believe it,” Biagoli told reporters as soon as she won the competition.
The 26-year-old Córdoba born swimmer is set to take part of the Olympic Games for the fourth time in London 2012, after Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.
