Popular Front presidential candidate Eduardo Duhalde blasted fellow contender Alberto Rodríguez Saá and warned that ‘he switched parties,’ when he decided to seek an electoral deal with Francisco de Narváez.
Duhalde, who holds a remarkable dispute with Santa Fe province Governor since the failed Federal Peronism open primaries, said that Rodríguez Saá “betrayed those who voted for him” in the primaries in order to be able to charge, after the elections, the 900 million pesos the Government owes San Luis.
“The 900 million debt will be arranged afer the elections, because if not, there’s no explanation why they keep attacking me,” Duhalde said.
The former president deemed that Rodríguez Saá “betrayed those who had voted him by switching sides.”
Thus, Duhalde referred to Rodríguez Saá’s comments on the fact that if he had to vote between President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and Duhalde, he’d vote for the Head of State.
