‘Gov’t has changed attitude toward farming sector,’ assures Buzzi

The head of the Argentine Agrarian Federation (FAA), Eduardo Buzzi, assured today that “the Government has changed their attitude” toward the agricultural sector in recent months, although denying changes in production policies.

Buzzi said that since halfway through last year a “huge change in approach” was seen in the Government with regard to farmlands and underlined that this new attitude became consistently more profound after the death of ex-president Néstor Kirchner.

The FAA head commented that, since the arrival of incumbent Agriculture Minister, Julián Domínguez to the Government, “a change in attitude” and that the constant confrontations between the Government House and the organization and other agricultural entities, had finally come to a head.
