Radical Party’s presidential candidate, Ricardo Alfonsín, went over his own words and now says that a triumph on October’s presidential elections “is difficult but not impossible.”
Thus, Alfonsín went back on his recent remarks indicating that beating President Cristina Fernández de Kirhcner in the next October 23 presidential elections was “less than probable if not impossible or a miracle”.
Alfonsín statements had disgusted his BA province gubernatorial candidate, business tycoon Francisco De Narváez, who regretted the comments and remember that “There are no lost fights before fighting them.”
In radio conversations, the son of late president Raúl Alfonsín, said “I’m gonna keep fighting to win the elections, it’s a tough mission, but not impossible”, and added, “We are working in order to win it and Francisco [De Narváez] knows that.”
