President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner assured that Argentines “can count on her for everything that still needs to be done in the country,” as she led her final election campaign rally.
She praised her running mate Amado Boudou’s speech, which he gave before her, and told him that “if (former President and late husband) Néstor Kirchner had heard you, he would have been a lot calmer than he was in order moments.”
She also stressed that “calls to value equality are being heard throughout the world.”
As a global crisis continues to unfold, she called for “the acknowledgement of the Kirchnerite model” in order to face it.
