‘Blue’ dollar drops three cents to 14.91 pesos

The so called «blue» dollar fell three cents today in underground houses and closed at 14.91 pesos, according to a report by ámbito.com. Early in the trading session it had dropped to 14.85 pesos.
Yesterday, the parallel rate closed at 14.94 pesos, dropping one cent, following the upward trend registered on Monday and Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the US dollar traded unchanged in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices and closed at 9.195 pesos.
In addition, the stock exchange dollar traded four cents up at 13.02 pesos, while the blue-chip swap rate increased four cents to 13.28 pesos.
The Central Bank sold US$ 20 million today, placing US$ 160 million in the foreign exchange market during the week.
In the meantime, according to ámbito.com, the Central Bank yesterday requested authorities to carry out two raids in underground houses in the City, seizing $153,000, US$ 11,000, R$ 700 and € 2700.
