“The Intelligence Federal Agency (AFI) was created to look after you, not to spy on you,” the agency’s director Oscar Parrilli told businessmen today during a meeting with small and medium-sized companies at the CAME confederation headquarters.
He insisted the agency will not intervene in the foreign exchange market and guaranteed the AFI will “protect you from eventual stalking.”
“We came to explain the transformation we are carrying out in intelligence. We want every Argentine to get to know AFI’s mission,” Parrilli told reporters.
“Our task is to protect businessmen and industrialists such as the ones who are part of CAME,” he added.
