Economy Minister Axel Kicillof and Trade Secretary Augusto Costa have announced the prices of the products included in the government-sponsored ‘Price Watch’ program will increase 2.2 percent in average for the next three months.
During a conference held at the Economy Ministry, Costa specified 38 new products will be included in the program, which will total an amount of 506 products distributed in main supermarket chains and other shops.
This way, price increases of the ‘Price Watch’ products will be of 9% for the period January-October 2015. “This program grows and fulfills its objectives. We have doubled the amount of products. We will continue with this campaign, whose aim is to empower the people and consumers,” Kicillof said during the conference.
