FpV, PRO-UCR-CC alliance sign up for PASO elections

The ruling Victory Front (FpV) and the opposition alliance that gathers the PRO party, the Radical Union (UCR) and the Civic Coalition (CC) have all signed up for the national PASO elections.
Today was the last day to sign up coalitions for the upcoming national elections. While the FpV and the “Cambiemos” (“Let’s change”) coalition created by PRO, UCR and the CC already signed up, Sergio Massa’s Renewal Front (FR) was to complete the procedure. The FR has time up until 12 pm today.
The Victory Front gathers 14 national parties and 63 local groups and will compete in all 24 jurisdictions. The coalition is composed by: Partido Justicialista (PJ); Partido para la Victoria; Frente Grande; Intransigente; Federal; Kolina; Nuevo Encuentro; Partido Humanista; Hacer por el Progreso Social; FORJA; Por la Soberanía Popular; Solidario; y Encuentro por la Democracia y la equidad (EDE).
Meanwhile, the PRO party, the Radical party and the Civic Coalition decided to include “Fe”, the party of union leader “Momo” Venegas in their coalition, which they named “Cambiemos”.
Also, Compromiso Federal, the coalition that includes Adolfo Rodríguez Saá, signed up for the primaries. The coalition includes Es Posible, of Rodríguez Saá, and the Movimiento Independiente por la Justicia y la Dignidad (MIJD), of Raúl Castells. Fernando “Pino” Solanas was to participate in the front but pulled down his presidential bid.
Margarita Stolbizer’s GEN, the Socialist Party, Libres del Sur and Socialismo Auténtico signed up with the name UNEN.
The Frente Popular also signed up and will present the presidential candidacy of Víctor de Gennaro. The alliance includes Unidad Popular (UP) and the Partido del Trabajo y el Pueblo (PTP).
The Leftist Front (FIT) also signed up.
