Supermarket sales go up 7.3% in April, says INDEC

The INDEC statistics bureau has informed supermarket sales went up 7.3 percent in April compared to the same month last year.
In addition, shopping centre sales increased 3.7% last month compared to the same period of 2015.
Compared against March 2015 though, supermarket sales decreased 3.8%, while shopping centre sales dropped 12%.
Sales in pesos for supermarkets in April were 17,296 billion, a 26.3% hike compared to 2014, and for shopping centers 2,727 billion, a 16.2% increase.
